As an empty nester, I returned to writing, a passion that I thought would be woven into my career when I went to college. Opportunities and interests led me elsewhere and raising our family was my focus. As the kids launched, I have found my way back to writing at just the right point in my life. I spent 2020 as a columnist for our local newspaper, The Enterprise Record and will be seeding this blog with these stories. Along with my husband Ken, I write for Edible Shasta Butte Magazine on a quarterly basis and love these local food related articles. Some of these will surely make an appearance here as well. This blog will take me on my next writing journey as I move forward in sharing my stories. Thanks for coming along for the ride.
